Lynn Jones

Interior Designer

Lynn Jones, interior designer, credits her love of art to her mother, who exposed her to art and took her to the DIA when she was a child.

“I took inspiration from my mother, who’s always been involved in the art community,” Lynn said. “She emphasized how meaningful it is to have art in your life.”

Lynn graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in fine arts and has worked in the design business for about 15 years and has experience in working with outside designers.

Her strength with clients, Lynn said, is that she listens. “Then I guide them as much or as little as they need.” She begins by touring the store with clients, having them point out pieces that they like, then has them show her photos of their homes so that she can get a feel for the architecture.

“I like all different styles, and the beauty of my job is that I can work with all of them,” she said. “Whatever the project calls for is what excites me.”
