Every person who comes into Gorman’s wants their home to look beautiful, Ann Kilano said. And she helps them achieve that, no matter the challenge – because every home has a different need.
“I just love to make beautiful things,” she said. “And I treat the (client’s) house as my own.”
Ann has worked in design for more than 20 years, starting in furniture and then in clothing at Neiman Marcus. She has been at Gorman’s for five years.
Balance is important, Ann believes. And less is more. “Don’t stuff your house with accessories,” she said. “Instead of filling an entire wall with pictures, place one nice picture over a sofa. And don’t put so many things on a console table that you can’t see the console table.”
Ann speaks Arabic and Chaldean, as well as understands most dialects of the Middle East.
